„Contributors should note that the starting point of the Conference programme is the acceptance of the accuracy and excellence of Relativity Theory, so that the questions raised are directed towards examining the philosophical, historical, and methodological aspects of the formal structure (mathematical theory), and the implications which these several interpretations have for the physical theories listed under the specialist sections. Therefore polemical „anti-Einstein“ and „anti-Relativity“ papers will not be accepted for inclusion in the programme“ (1)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

„I am a member of the academic committee of a bi-annual Conference on the „Physical Interpretations Theory“ which is scheduled to take place first in September this year at the Imperial College of London. So, I am authorized to invite you formally to participate in this Conference. But we have a problem: outspoken Opposition to the establishment is not welcome! However, an intelligent criticism presented in moderate terms will be tolerated – and if you can promise that the style of your presentation will be not offensive to the orthodox, I can promise you that you will not be alone with your heresies! Is this acceptable to you? Then, please, suggest a title (or 2-3) of your lecture. Yours sincerely, Mogens“<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

(1) Teilnehmer nehmen bitte zur Kenntnis, da\u00df im Konferenzprogramm Richtigkeit und Vortrefflichkeit der Relativit\u00e4tstheorie von vorneherein akzeptiert werden, soda\u00df die aufgeworfenen Fragen sich den philosophischen, historischen und methodischen Aspekten der formalen Struktur (mathematische Theorie) und den Implikationen dieser verschiedenen Interpretationen f\u00fcr die physikalischen Theorien der einzelnen Fachsitzungen zuwenden.
